Psalm 103:13-14
13 As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
14 for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.

Compassion literally means “to suffer together.” Among emotion researchers, it is defined as the feeling that arises when you are confronted with another's suffering and feel motivated to relieve that suffering.

Our God is full of compassion. He has compassion on all he has made. Isaiah 49:5 “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!”

Application

Remember your father, mother and others who showed compassion when you suffered. Thank God for them in your life. Thank them if you can by sending a text or calling them.
